Losing weight is all about eating less than you burn. There are zero exceptions to this rule. When you eat less than you burn you burn excess fat which then allows you to lose weight.
The best way to start losing weight is to first figure out how much you need to eat to lose weight. First you find your BMR (online calculators) then subtract 300 from it that’s the amount of calories you need to be eating to lose weight. Now of course this is just an estimation, you will need to weigh yourself routinely and see if you are losing weight. If you aren’t, simply decrease your calories by 5%.
The second thing you need to do is make a meal plan. Meal prepping is the key to staying on track with your goals. When you make your meals for the week you take the stress out of losing weight. You have all the food you need to eat prepared days before and all you have to do is heat and go.
When you don’t meal prep, your will power drains and you go for the first thing you see when you’re hungry (which isn’t always the best choice).
Another tip I would give is eat foods you love and will continue to eat when you lose weight. Weight loss is a lifestyle change not a temporary change.
Weight loss is all about consistency. The more consistent you are the more results you will see.
